The Power of Visuals in Building Digital Discipleship

As the Social Media Manager for the local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Okemos High School, I created engaging visuals that helped establish their brand and raise awareness among high school students and the surrounding community. Over a six year period, I was able to build a loyal audience and create a culture of digital discipleship that was both rewarding and fulfilling.

The primary goal was to create content that could be consistently shared on social media and used for promotional materials to encourage students to attend meetings and join their club. Through captivating images and creative designs that expressed brand identity, we were able to inspire visually and effectively communicate our message.

As a result, our outreach extended beyond the high school and reached families and individuals at various community gatherings and online platforms. This experience has taught me the importance of using visuals to tell your story and express your brand identity in unique ways that inspire and engage your audience. It was an experience I never will forget, truly heaven sent!
